2018 Honda Fit Engine Specs & Performance 

The 2018 Honda Fit comes with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine underneath the hood. The hatchback comes standard with the 6-speed manual transmission, however, the Continuously Variable Transmission is available as an option with each trim. The CVT may see a slight reduction in output, but it adds to the vehicle’s overall efficiency. The Honda Fit engine even features Direct Fuel Injection which limits the amount of fuel that gets burned up in the combustion chamber while reducing the fuel waste to help the Honda Fit perform at optimal efficiency.

Passenger & Cargo Space 

The 2018 Honda Fit offers 95.7 cubic feet of space inside of its cabin that’s roomy enough for 5 passengers. The vehicle is outfitted with cloth seating appointments, which can be leather-trimmed when you upgrade to the EX-L trim. The rear features the 60/40 Split 2nd-Row Magic Seat®, which allows you to fold the seats down to boost the 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space to a more ample 52.7 cubic feet.

Audio & Connectivity Features 

The base level Honda Fit LX comes outfitted with a 4-speaker sound system and a 5-inch screen that can be used to access features like the radio, the Bluetooth® phone and streaming, and even the portable media player that’s connected to the USB or auxiliary input. Upgrading to the Sport trim or higher increases the screen size to 7-inches and even adds two additional speakers to the vehicle’s entertainment system. This upgrade also includes Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, HondaLink™, and even Pandora® Compatibility.
