The Subaru Forester can tow 1,500 pounds when properly equipped. By contrast, the Honda Passport tows up to 3,500 pounds when equipped with standard front-wheel drive (FWD). With all-wheel drive (AWD), the Passport increases its towing capacity to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
