Honda HR-V Interior Design

2018 Honda HR-V interior

The Honda HR-V offers lots of space for five people to stretch out, as shown with the following interior dimensions:

  • Front headroom: 39.5 inches
  • Front legroom: 41.2 inches
  • Rear headroom: 38.3 inches
  • Rear legroom: 39.3 inches
  • Total passenger volume: 100.1 cubic feet

There’s also enough room for small objects like grocery bags or backpacks or large objects like kayaks or bicycles. When the rear seats are up, there’s 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold those rear seats and that space expands to 58.8 cubic feet.

Plus, with the 60/40 split 2nd-Row Magic Seat®, you can fit objects of almost any size into the HR-V. Fold the front and rear passenger seats down almost completely flat to fit an item that’s up to 8 feet long. Fold the rear seat cushions up to store tall cargo upright—as much as 4 feet in height. And with the 60/40 split option, you can fit as much as cargo inside as needed while still leaving room for a backseat passenger.

HR-V Performance Honda HR-V models

The 2018 HR-V comes with a 1.8L i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine that’s paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with Sport Mode.

While the vehicle normally comes in two-wheel drive, it has an available Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ when equipped with the CVT. This system will automatically transfer power to the rear wheels when it senses the front ones losing traction. This will help to keep the vehicle more stable on less-than-ideal roads.

The SUV can also let you drive farther for longer, as it can achieve up to an EPA-estimated 28 city/34 highway MPG.*

High-Tech Features

The Honda HR-V offer lots of impressive technologies to help you stay connected and entertained. It comes standard with a 5-inch color LCD screen, a 4-speaker sound system, and Bluetooth® capability to stream audio or make hands-free phone calls.

Upgrade to a higher trim level and you get a 7-inch display audio with high-resolution electrostatic touchscreen plus a 6-speaker sound system. You also get Pandora®, HD Radio™, and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. You get HondaLink® as well, which lets you connect your compatible smartphone to the vehicle to access social media, stream music, or even schedule service appointments.

Another available feature is the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™. It comes with HD Traffic and voice recognition to help you get to your next weekend getaway.
